Renewable asset management

Renewables Asset Management

Hockerton Housing Project has 15 years of experience working with renewables asset management. This means, for example, we look at renewable energy projects on domestic, community, small-holding business and farm-scale sites. We can assist owners and managers through the lifecycle of planning, financing, construction, maintenance, and optimising performance through monitoring and management.

Renewables asset management service

Our renewables asset management service offers local businesses tailored and affordable support with the following:

  • Operational performance
  • Financial management and reporting
  • Grid management
  • Power Purchase Agreement negotiations
  • Community engagement and fund management

Project management of renewables asset management

Our offer for renewables asset management also includes the project management of, for instance, community engagement facilitation, presentations to planning committees and appropriate equipment specification through to management of community funds. Other areas of involvement are wind and solar farm management for landowners, including monitoring, reporting outputs,  managing feed-in tariff payments and service and repair contracts.

Hockerton Housing Project is an exemplar of community energy. After managing the set up of our own two wind turbines, Hockerton Housing Project has supported the village of Hockerton to get their own community wind turbine. This wind turbine now provides the majority of the energy for the village. With that, Sustainable Hockerton Ltd. was born and is being administered by Hockerton Housing Project.

    What others say

Thank you very much for a really useful day. We have already had lots of theoretical information and advice as we seek to progress our project but at Hockerton we got exactly what we wanted – warts and all from somebody who has actually done it.
