Information Collection and Use
Hockerton Housing Project occasionally sends information, via an email, to people about events (such as guided tours), news and publications associated with Hockerton Housing Project & sustainability. The recipients of these emails are drawn from a mailing list. You will only be on this list under the following circumstances:

Hockerton Housing Project uses Eventbrite as a ticketing service for some events. Eventbrite, Inc is Privacy Shield certified which means that it self-certifies to protect Personal Data from the EEA, Switzerland and the UK in accordance with established data privacy principles.
Where your contact information has been provided by Eventbrite Inc or another third party to Hockerton Housing Project for the purposes of a seminar, event or similar activity to be held by Hockerton Housing Project, your contact information may be passed to a third party event management company to enable Hockerton Housing Project to facilitate the seminar, event or similar activity. The information will not be used for another purpose.
Sustainable Hockerton’ s web site which we manage uses servers in the USA this means data will be stored in the USA. The USA is considered to have “an adequate level of data protection”. For more information please refer to the rules on data stored outside the EU and confirmation that the USA is covered by an “Adequacy Decision“.

Whilst Hockerton Housing Project takes all reasonable precautions to protect personally identifiable information from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction and complies with the Data Protection Act, data transmission over the Internet may not be adequately secured by the sender. As a result, Hockerton Housing Project cannot ensure the secure receipt of any information that is sent to Hockerton Housing Project by this medium and any such information is sent at your own risk.
Updating and Deleting
If the contact information held by Hockerton Housing Project changes, or if you wish Hockerton Housing Project to delete, update or correct certain contact information from Hockerton Housing Project records, please notify us via email.
