Use of HHP images

We frequently get requests for images of HHP for a wide range of purposes, including:

  • To support media articles in magazines and newspapers
  • Use in books and other publications (brochures, reports, etc)
  • To support planning applications for similar projects
  • Educational materials/resources
  • Use on websites as a case study
  • Inclusions in student dissertations

We can supply by email a wide range of high resolution images. You can view a selection by clicking here. These are only a selection in a low resolution format. If you are looking for a different sort of image, then do contact us at hhp@hockerton.demon.co.uk  to check what else is available.

Costs for use

Where possible we ask for a financial contribution. All monies are put into our not-for-profit co-operative and used to promote sustainable living further*. Any contribution is welcome, but we normally charge the following per image published/use (unless otherwise stated):

  • Students (for dissertations): £5 (up to 5 images)
  • Individuals (support planning applications, etc): £10 (up to 5 images)
  • Not-for-profit organisations/ Charities: £25+VAT
  • Commercial organisations: £40+VAT

(We offer discounts based on number used

If you do not have any budget for use of images or really feel you cannot afford any contribution, do please contact us to discuss your situation. In many cases we are happy to support worthwhile causes/ ventures.

* Most income from images is used to support visits from local schools to us to learn about sustainability. It costs approximately £300 to support one class visit. In most cases this sort of external funding is essential as schools rarely have sufficient funds for such trips.
