HHP in the media

The Hockerton Housing Project has received significant publicity for over 15 years from many areas of the media. This includes local and national TV & Radio, local and national newspapers and a range of specialist publications.

Tom Heep from BBC One O'Clock News recording live at HHP in 2005A national press campaign was launched to herald the official completion of the houses in 1998. This was strengthened by the attendance of a Government Minister, Nick Raynsford (Construction) to formally acknowledge the completion of the project. As the project continues to mature, the local and national media continue to return to record the progress and activities of the project. The Hockerton Housing Project is happy to be involved with the media to promote more sustainable lifestyles on television, in print or through web-based articles.
