BBC Jam lays it on thick with HHP

BBC Jam is an educational tool for schools. Under a Design & Technology section for 11-14 year olds. It uses the Hockerton Housing Project as one of the main case studies to illustrate aspects of sustainability. It includes some fantastic graphics (not unlike SIMMS) of HHP and short videos with HHP members showing lots of different aspects of the Project, including;

• a tour of the home,
• food & animals,
• meet the family (the 'Whites'),
• location,
• image gallery.

To access this website, follow these steps (it is worthwhile...honest!):

• Go to www.bbc.co.uk/jam (apologies for the rather loud & grating sound effects)
• Click on 'Get it all' which will allow you to get a Log in (it is only a short form and you will have to pretend that you are back at school!)
• Click on following in order Design & Technology/Explore/Food for Thought/Sustainability/Housing/Hockerton.
