New Disabled Footpath 

A grant from the Sustainable Communities Fund of £5225 was made by Nottinghamshire Community Foundation to enable the construction of hard paths around the HHP site which would be suitable for wheelchair users.  We had planned to continue the path up on to the grass roof of the buildings but the angle was too steep!

After a lot of hard graft the Project Members, who did much of the groundwork themselves, are extremely pleased with their efforts and are ready to get busy again in September with educational tours of the site from universities, schools and professional bodies.
