  • The National Byway (www.thenationalbyway.org) is a 3,500-mile leisure cycling route around Britain, including many routes around Nottinghamshire and one that goes past the Hockerton Housing Project itself. Its objective is to use existing, lightly trafficked rural lanes to form the route.
