Resource Pack (Down load for Free see below)
This resource pack is intended to be used by teachers / parents as a guide alongside all sections of the programme to help the problems solvers in their quest!
Selections of the following topics are chosen by teachers/pupils:

The mapping exercise is described on a separate sheet. Other sections explain fully the curriculum links (in addition to a brief summary on each topic sheet), risk assessment and guidance on planning for the trip (the latter is completed jointly with a HHP member prior to the trip).
Having identified during the in-school session that in our lives we have 'Needs' and 'Wants', and that these often create environmental 'Problems', it becomes necessary for the problem solvers to find 'Solutions'. Some of which may be found at the Hockerton Housing Project.
Each topic page details the activities available, along with their learning points and curriculum links. It also highlights 'solutions' providing the problem-solvers with actions they might be able to try at home. A brief introduction to the global relevance of each topic is included for those who may need some background information to the topics. Leads are also given for further information or involvement such as website addresses, organisations to contact and reading suggestions.

Resource Pack for Down Load
Our aim over the coming year is to expand the sustainable educational activities at HHP for school children in a number of ways. This includes creating a modified programme so that it can be used by schools unable to visit HHP due to practical reasons – in essence a version with extra sections to enable autonomous use by schools.
