Car-Sharing

"Car-sharing", "lift sharing", "ride-sharing",  or "carpooling" are all terms used for an increasingly popular form of travel - two or more people sharing a car to get from A to B rather than driving alone. The benefits are numerous both for yourself, your family, your community and the environment.

By car-sharing you will be:
• Easing congestion 
• Reducing both noise and air pollution
• Saving money.

HHP can help to match you with someone else if anyone is coming from your locality. If you are interested in obtaining a lift from anyone else planning to attend the same HHP as you, then please email us and we will do the following: 
• If anyone else from your locality books into the same event as you, we will contact them and ask if they are planning to come by car, and if so would they be willing to car-share.
• If they are interested, we will send them your details and leave them to contact you if they are still interested.

Otherwise why not try using one of the national schemes. There are an increasing number of car-share schemes in the UK, which have the general support of Government and environmental organisations.
