Cycling to HHP

Timings from:

• Southwell: 10mins (2 miles)
• Newark: 25-30minutes (7-8 miles)
• Nottingham: 1hour+ (approx. 20 miles)

Routes
Once you have booked onto a tour, workshop, or other event at HHP, you will sent directions on 'How to Find Us' which includes a small map of HHP site and adjacent roads. This is likely to be sufficient to locate HHP by bike. However in summary, from:

• Southwell - Take road out of town to Hockerton passing a mill (with bridge) and Normanton crossroads - This road connects with major trunk road, A617.  The HHP site is a right turn just before A617 junction.
• Newark - Leave the town and follow A617, passing Kelham and Averham. Just after passing Hockerton sign take right turn (directed Southwell). The HHP site is a left turn after about 100m.

Security
HHP is a very safe site. However we would recommend bringing your own lock for your own peace of mind. Our new bike shelter has a 'toastrack' to securely lock your bike

Cycle facilities
HHP has dedicated facilities for cyclists including a covered bike shelter.
