HHP has been welcoming visitors since 1997, before the homes were even finished. We now have two types of tours (Introductory and Technical) to meet your needs, in addition to a range of Master Classes.  All tours and events are run by one of the HHP residents.

All tours include:

  • A tour of the project site highlighting renewable energy systems (wind & solar), autonomous water systems, and key elements of landscaping

  • A tour of one of the homes highlighting key environmental features, and ultra low energy building design
  • AV presentation in our Sustainable Resource Centre, covering the history of the development and explaining how the homes work
